"THE BLOOMING SPONGE"
Have you ever wondered what might happen if you planted a handful of bird seed?
Well, wonder no more! Try the BLOOMING SPONGE EXPERIMENT and witness a variety of
growths
on a single sponge.
What We Need:
1/2 cup of (any) Wild Bird Seed
1 sponge (any size)
1/4 cup of water
Small plate
Plastic wrap
Our Directions:
1. Place sponge on small plate
2. Dampen sponge with water (Do Not Soak!)
3. Completely cover top of sponge with birdseed
4. Cover loosely with plastic wrap
Keep your experiment on a windowsill and water lightly every other day.
Within a few days, you'll start to see sprouts. Good luck!
